Meet Ephrem Gebreselam, CPA
Ephrem Gebreselam is a skilled finance, accounting, and tax professional with more than 20 years of progressive experience across the U.S. and Ethiopia.
As Managing Partner at Ethio CPA Group, he oversees the firm’s financial operations, tax planning, and strategic decision-making—providing hands-on guidance to more than 100 small business clients.
Before founding Ethio CPA Group, Ephrem served as Senior Manager of Tax at Olwan Ghannam & Associates, Director of Finance at PHI Medicine, and Accountant at NMS Healthcare. In Ethiopia, he gained valuable international experience as a Tax Supervisor, managing complex compliance and advisory engagements for diverse clients.
Ephrem holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Addis Ababa University, an MBA from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and an MBA in Accounting from Maharishi International University.
He has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Maryland and Virginia since 2016, advising small businesses—particularly retail and service enterprises—for over a decade.
